I am newbie here (3 days ago I joined here), so I think this is a good way for everyone to know about me ^_^

1. I am Indonesian and very proud of that. But now I live in Germany. I married to German and I am happy. Both of us love Indonesia very much. My great grandpa was Chinaman, his name is Li Giok Djoen. He is passed away on May, 1957. I never know him but I adore him. Most of people said to me that he "touched" me, that's why I love China, Chinese and it's culture very much. My physical appereance just like another common asian girl, but I am very proud that I have chinese blood and chinese Name, that given from my chinese teacher (Chen Lao Shi) - Li Ai Hua - a person who has a lot of love for China.


2. I am houswife, love to cook and now writing stories about Indonesia for our website in German and English. We are planning to have a shop, which is selling indonesian goods. We are glad if there are a lot of people, who visit our website

3. My husband is Marc, he is 30 years old, converted to Islam (both of us are moslem and we always try to be good moslems-Religion is very important for us). He is working at his family offset, which is selling christmas, birthday and a lot of cards for company or privat. Just visit this webiste: http://nobila.de

4. I love to live here in Germany but I missed often my family, friends, students and all relatives in Indonesia. I graduated from Malang University, my major is German and I was teacher in Indonesia since 2001. I worked at hotel Tugu Malang as secretary and also free translator everywhere for different occassions. I love teaching and I miss that time. I am a person who stand between two culture and continents. But our another dream in the future is to live in Indonesia for the rest our life.

5. I have 2 younger sisters. Nana (20) lives at Bali and study Tourism there. Rosy (13) lives with our parents in Malang, East Java. My mum is midwife and she is studying now. She is a good student and always has good note! My father was lecturer but he is retired after more thatn 15 years working there, now he has little bussines called Koperasi. Here in Germany I have very nice parents in law and 2 brother in laws. They love me just the way I am...

7. Still related about China, I am dreaming that someday I can visit the land of my ancestors with my husband.

8. I am planning to study Chinese at Cologne University at this Winter Semester. I am still waiting for the anouncement from them. Yesterday I received my German Test Certificate. I got 17 points (actually I need 16 points for study at University).

My Fave Food - Bakso

I am from Malang, East Java, Indonesia and Malang is very famous with its Bakso (meat ball). I really missed bakso, since I live in Germany. My husband Marc loves Bakso too and I try to make it. It was not bad but the taste of my bakso is really different with bakso in Malang...

Note: You don't have to give out the recipe, just post the photo and tell us why you like it coz for some people like me, just love to eat my favorite food and I don't even know how to cook it...
